Next, tap on iPhone at the bottom of Control Center and make sure there’s a check mark next to Headphones. If the check mark is next to something else, simply tap on Headphones to switch. If you plugged headphones into your iPhone, but you can’t hear any audio playing, then the volume on your iPhone may just be turned all the way down. Release the power button when the Apple logo appears right in the center of your iPhone’s display. Wait approximately 15-30 seconds, then press and hold the power button again.
